Councils may collect a fee from the Regional Landscape Boards for the administrative costs of collecting a landscape levy.
For 2021/2022 the amount (excluding GST) that can be claimed for ongoing costs is a fixed fee of $2,557.32 (indexed), plus $0.25 (indexed) per rateable assessment.
This amount can be claimed by the relevant Council from each Landscape Board. Please ensure the tax invoice includes GST.
Claims are required to be made between 1 July and 31 March in the financial year for which the claim is being made except in circumstances of extraordinary administrative difficulty on the part of the Council.
